Photo by Philip Morris: It was taken on 3 July 1975.I was booked to cover for;Albert's a day of filming of a few of there artists: Stevie Wright, John Paul Young & Ac Dc in a film studio 11Young St Paddington starting at 10am and on memory took all day a lot of waiting around between takes and setting up each band. I shot a few roll of Ac Dc and the other band of witch the shot you have and the one of Bon with his hand up on the new release of High Voltage photos.

If you have the Family Jewels DVD the film clip of High Voltage, if you watch closely you can tell they have edited in some studio footage that was taken that day notice; Bon's wearing the vest.

It was an opportunity to get some good live shots of Bon in an even though it was set in the film studio.

45 – 7” single - Highway to Hell / If you want blood (you've got it) AP 104 Released August 1979

Photo by Robert Ellis: Doug, I stormed into Warner/Atlantic press office in late '79 after witnessing AC/DC blowing away my all time heros The Who in their support slot at Wembley Stadium. I demanded to work with them. Later that day I got a transatlantic phone call (er - shout) from new manger Peter Mensch inviting me onto the tour and to meet up at the first date in Glasgow. When I got there, the gig (a ballroom club) had burnt out that day and they played the very wet and soggy fire damaged venue the following night. It was filthy, smelly, sweaty and loud. Just like AC/DC. In their element. I went on to share that element with them until the mid eighties. Happy days. Robert Ellis www.repfoto.com

Let There Be Rock The Movie was released in 1980 in theatres throughout the world. It was filmed at The Pavillion in Paris France on 9 December 1979. My personal experience was to see the movie at The Perth Entertainment Centre. While waiting in line a whisper went through the crowd that the two elderly people in the line were Bon’s parents.
